Young Adults Leading the Renewal of Northern Israel

Jewish Funders Network and the Edmond de Rothschild Foundation (IL) announced at the JFN International Conference the launching of a $1 million matching grant to support young leaders and mission-driven communities working to rebuild and revitalize northern Israel in the wake of the Iron Swords War.

This initiative will fund organizations focused on community resilience, leadership development, employment, education, and cultural engagement—provided they secure 50% of support from new donors. Importantly, it is open to inclusive, diverse populations across all backgrounds, religions, and communities.

A call for proposals will be issued soon, and Zoom info sessions for funders will be held in June.

Changes to Federal policy and funding are swiftly reshaping how the government supports communities, reducing the federal workforce and curtailing programs across a wide range of agencies.

Join us for a virtual program that will provide up-to-date information on how these changes affect the delivery of human services and their impact on communities across the United States, from child and families services to programs that support LGBTQ community members. We'll also discuss the actions Jewish funders can, and should, consider taking in this moment of upheaval. Funders will gain perspective from a panel of experts and have the opportunity to bring their own questions to the discussion.
